Dr. Owings and staff are awesome! They have a cool website and a pet forum where you can ask questions and get advice. My dogs (boxers) are always having issues and I count on Kibby Park to keep them healthy and happy.

Dr. Owings is by far the best vet in Jackson, maybe the whole state of Michigan!! She really cares and takes great care of the animals. Very knowledgeable about those unusual animals as well.

We have used Kibby Park since our dog was a puppy in 2000. I love the fact that I never have to wait in the waiting room. They schedual their appointments so that you check in and go directly to a exam room. Your animal has very minimal contact with the other animals that are there. I also think the vets are the best. You can tell that they love their job. I have also called after hours and the Veterinarian actually called me back and gave me advice for no charge.
Pros: No waiting in the waiting room and after hours service.
Cons: None.

Out of all the animal hospitals and offices I have tried in Jackson County, Kibby Park has to be the absolute best. I have a diabetic Chihuahua they take great care of, and I have a 4 month old Rottweiler puppy that all the vet techs love. Needless to say both dogs are so spoiled whenever they visit the vet that they don’t actually mind going. They offer advice on different dog breeds prior to purchasing a puppy, and they offer training and “puppy parties”. My Rott typically gives everyone kisses at the office–he is quite fond of being told he is a good boy… he doesn’t even mind getting his nails clipped because he knows he’s going to get peanut butter. I am confident of leaving my dogs in their care. And they will listen to any problems and not rush you. They are compassionate, understanding, and fun. Does that make sense? Going to the vet nowadays is painless–for both me and my dogs! I highly recommend Kibby Park to anyone looking for a quality vet office. These doctors and techs know and love their animals.

Dr. Melissa Owings is and always has been wonderful for our dogs. Her staff is friendly and helpful and they’ve worked with us on emergencies with no problems. Dr. Owings knew just what to do when our doxie blew out his back. She saw him and we had the referral and surgery was done within a few hours. Her compassion was OUTSTANDING!
Pros: Convenient location, fast scheduling, super clean, wonderful staff.
Cons: Can’t think of anything bad.
